YAML configuration is deprecated

Hi, I received this error last week, could you help me resolve it? Thank you

YAML configuration is deprecated

YAML configuration of HACS is deprecated and will be removed in version 2.0.0, there will be no automatic import of this.
Please remove it from your configuration, restart Home Assistant and use the UI to configure it instead.

As the message says, remove the HACS section from configuration.yaml, restart HA, use ‘add integration’ to install HACS again

I can’t find the integration in Configuration.yaml

I found the HACS folder in/config/custom_components/hacs
I have to delete all the content

that you have to leave

I found and deleted the code inside /config/packages/hacs.yaml, rebooted and the warning disappeared

Hi i also have the same notification. Can you tell me which files need to be deleted?

You don’t delete files…
You remove hacs: (and any nested keys under it) from configuration.yaml (or wherever you placed it, only you can know where it is as you where the one writing it there)

I haven’t done the switch yet.

Once it’s removed from yaml and reconfigured via the UI do we need to completely start from scratch and re-download everything HACS integration related and set up the github authentication stuff again? Or will that still be in the system and the UI will find the existing HACS integration and authentication files?

I assume all of the current HACS configured repos will still be in the new HACS? Or will we need to redownload all of the existing components again?

Only the authentication will be needed.

thanks I found the point of the conf to be removed restarted - home assistant - added HACS via gui adding integration - authorizing access via the github site - restarted again home assistant - et voilà everything ok
Thank you

Do we already have HACS 2.0? or any release window?

SO whats going on with this? I use spotcast and seen a little too late that it was still using YAML, but after a restart does still seem to work.
