Yeelight bulbs
I’ve had this problem for a while. I’d be grateful if someone would advise me how to fix it.
“failed to connect to bulb 192.XXX.X.XXX - A socket error occurred when sending the command”
PM components/lights/yeelight.py (ERROR)
Check if your Yeelight bulb in the app has enabled LAN Control. Without this option you cannot control your bulb remotely.
Sounds simple, but check if it is powered too.
My kids often turn off one of my bulbs via the switch, meaning it is offline…
I thought I had that set, I didn’t - thanks that did the trick - what about a xiamoi phillips bulb - how do I change the same settings for that. I can use the yeelight app to change the setting for yeelight bulbs, but phillips bulb - what app do I use.
