Yeelight integration detects lamps but no entities/devices

Hi
on a fresh installation. Everything works fine so far… well, except my lamps

i have four yeelights 1s (color4). They are auto detected by the wizard upon the initial setup and show up as integrations. However, no devices or entities are created?

Being new to home assistant maybe i am forgetting something but how am i supposed to control the lights this way? Or is this a general problem with the yeelight integrations.

any advice would be much appreciated, thank you

i think i might have found the problem: yeelight firmware

i’ve been avoiding updates bc xiaomi usually breaks more than it fixes in my experience.

however, updating one of my lamps, fixed the problem. the lamp was afterwards auto-discovered as device

just leaving this here for anybody who encounters the same problem. cheers.
