Hi there,
I hope you can help, I am new to home assistant and started playing around with scenes.
I have the RGB model Yeelight which I would like to turn on with a bright natural light.
Problem
I can setup the scene and create a trigger, however when activated they are very dim compared to the app control.
I have set the Kelvin in the scene creation tool and saved. But it doesnt seem to notice or reverts back.
Having read a number of topics I am certain the scene creation is not saving the Kelvin, which on this bulb is important to ensure a bright light.
I have accessed the scene yaml and manually entered the kelvin variable to each light, but I think I need to make some amends to the yeelight.yaml, but don’t know how to access this file.
File editor seems locked to the config folder.
I am certain the author of this thread has the solution,
“Ok… I found the way to get the lamps to full brightness … by combining both responses and changing a data point on the service call.
@sjee - I create a new entity for each of the lamps in my yeelight.yaml file. Declaring the IP address and model as ‘bslamp1’ for each.”
But I am lost on how he did it!
Any help would be very gratefully received!
Many thanks
