I realized that the old Echo Dot 3 speaker was quite good and the device is rather cheap now, with everyone migrating to Alexa+ compatible devices.
This housing preserves the more rectangular shape of the original VPE housing, which I quite like.
The audio is way better compared to the default VPE and helps the device to perform well in large rooms.
