Hoping someone can help me out, please.
I am using Zwave JS, and have many devices connected.
Today I have tried adding Fibaro, TKB and Aeotec smart plugs and each one has issues.
They all add insecurely and all entities are unavailable.
In the controls section of the integration, where the device can be switched on and off, there is a greyed-out switch icon which when clicked, gives the entity is unavailable message. All my other smart plugs have a coloured icon with a slider to switch the device on and off.
I am using the latest Zwave JS version and an Aeotec stick Gen 5 stick which has been working fine.

Some devices will not work when included insecurely. Your controller is 10 years old. What firmware version is it running? You may need to replace it to use the newer features.
