This is kind of weird. I have a Z-Stick Gen5 and a smallish network with 40 devices. But most of them are greyed out and marked as “unavailable” in the Lovelace GUI. But they work in automations, so when I press a button on this keypad:
The scene will be run. Any idea what this can be?
It seems it’s related to the entity name starting with the device name, a change from last year. But when I try to delete the things they come back after a reboot. Like this siren:
I only have one, but even if I try to delete the ghost, it comes back after the next reboot. How can I kill it for good?
Finally found it myself. Turned out that MQTT discovery was turned on for Hass in Z-Wave-JS-UI. Works now.
