Hi,
I am tired of my unreliable z-wave window sensors.
More or less I have tried everything the last 2 years.
I started with Vera and Fibaro FGK-101 Sensors. Vera regularly missed state changes of the sensors. Due to this and other issues with Vera, I switched to Domoticz with a Aoetec z-stick. => Same issues with the FGK-101’s.
Then I started replacing the FGK-101 Sensors with Schwaiger ZHS09 Sensors. Kind of better, but still unreliable.
Finally, I switched back to Vera as a z-wave hub and set up home-assistant on top of it. Same result. The ZHS09 are still unreliable.
I can exclude z-wave range issues, as I have at least 3 other 220V z-wave devices in every room.
The only workaround I see, is switching to another protocol.
Currently I am considering either trying Nod On SDO-2-1-05 Enocean, or obtaining a ccu3 and HomeMatic Window sensors.
What’s your thoughts/ suggestions?
