Planning on adding FirstAlert combo units (Model #1044807). Would be first z-wave devices in home. Home is about a 1000 sq ft. Not wanting to break bank so looking for good entry level z-wave hub. Also, hoping FirstAlert has add-on or integration that will work from HA. Guessing it will but not in front of my HA console.
Here is a write-up I did which may be of interest. I did not mention it in the write-up, but I was using Aeotec Gen5+ ZStick and ZWaveJS-UI AddOn with HA. I have several other ZWave devices including Repeaters in my house so networking in my case is not so much of an issue.
