Z-Wave + husbzb-1 I cannot add devices

Hello,

I’ve got a fresh install of Home Assistant (OS) running. The ZigBee part of my husbzb-1 works fine. The Z-Wave is giving me problems. Everything seems to be installed fine but I cannot add devices. I’ve started the inclusion progress but nothing gets detected. I’ve tried a Walli dimmer and two Fibaro Wall Plugs. None of them seem to get detected. All of the devices are reset to factory defaults.

Anyone got any pointers where to look for the problem?

Try including with no security. Including securely can be a real pain and is only really needed for Door Locks, in my opinion.

This was one of the things I tried. It didn’t change the outcome.

Well,… it was my own fault. Apparently Z-Wave is location based. I bought the controller in America and am using it in Europe. When I flashed the Z-Wave half of the usb stick I used an EU version of the firmware. Now it works like a charm.

Well that would cause issues. I figured since you got that device you were in north America
