Z-Wave JS - Cannot start Exclusion

Hi folks - I have Z-Wave JS running as an integration in Home Assistance (using an Aeotec Dongle plugged into my HA server).

All was running ok until 2 Fibraro motion sensors started reporting motion all the time. Anyway after playing around I thought I would exclude them and then re-add them. This worked fine for the 1st motion sensor. I went to the integrations page, clicked configure on Z Wave JS, then clicked Remove Device, followed by Start Exclusion - then another message popped up (cant remember what) - I then clicked the button a few times on the motion sensor, I got a success message, re- added it and all was good.

I then when to try the second motion sensor, but clicking Start Exclusion I remember getting an error message (cant remember what). However, now trying to click start Exclusion, nothing happens. No error message, nothing.

I have tried restarting the integration. Restarting HA. Tried looking at the logs (nothing comes up when clicking the start exclusion button). I have tried healing the network (this runs fine). I’ve tried from different PC’s and a phone. Same issue.

Is there anything I can try to get the start exclusion working again?

Thanks

What do the logs say?

The only thing I can see in the logs is this…

Logger: homeassistant.components.websocket_api.http.connection
Source: components/websocket_api/connection.py:89
Integration: Home Assistant WebSocket API (documentation, issues)
First occurred: January 7, 2022, 10:07:00 AM (6 occurrences)
Last logged: January 7, 2022, 10:07:00 AM

[140098046603664] Received invalid command: zwave_js/remove_node

Does that help? When looking at the logs within ZwaveJS - Nothing appears when pressing the Start Exclude button…

I’m having the same weird problem with a Zooz Zwave stick. Did you find a solution?

Same problem here…

I am also having this problem with my Aeotec stick. I’ve never been able to get it to include/exclude through HA, and I used to just remove the stick and do it manually. I tried that yesterday and it blew up my whole Z wave though and I had to delete and reinstall it.

I updated Aeotec stick firmware and it works fine now.
