I upgraded from Z-Wave JS UI 3.10.0 to Z-Wave JS UI 3.11.0 yesterday but it appears that some of the data such as temperature are not being read correctly in this new version. I didn’t investigate much further as I quickly reverted back to the previous version from the backup. Something similar had happened a couple or so months ago on a previous version Z-Wave JS UI but that was soon resolved with a newer release.
Wondering if the same is happening now? I’m a little less certain this time, as the issue didn’t appear immediately after the update but about two hours later. However, everything appears to be working fine so far with Z-Wave JS UI 3.10.0, but will monitor over the next day or so.
The solution is to set the preferred units in zwavejsui. Those temperatures are probably in Celsius instead of Farhreheit or vv.
Where does one find this setting?
I’ve finally concluded that this was user error! There was a cold spell recently (which I’ve had since installing HA a few months ago) so what I was seeing were some rapid temperature spikes in the utility building caused by the low-temperature heating mode of the heating system (rapid heating, rapid cooling), plus I had a coincident but temporary loss of my normally reliable Z-Wave network (which I’ve not seen again). So I’m closing this.
