Z-Wave JS UI – Security level?

One of my devices refuses to be added to JS UI with security S2 (and its a S2) device. - Its getting a red circle.
Does not help sitting beside the controller with the device close by while pairing. Have tried to exclude it, re-paired it. Several times.

Can I re-pair and force a security level, without exclude it first (it’s a wall mounted switch)?
