Z.Wave.me UZB Stick not showing as Z-Wave Plus compatible

Hey,

Just plugged in a Z-Wave.me UZB stick and got it set up, it’s working great, however, the Home Assistant panel is saying ‘False’ to Z-Wave Plus.

This is the stick:

Everywhere I looked and the place I purchased it from said it was, is this an issue, or just my stick?

I have an Aeotec Gen5 Z-Stick and it shows as false under “is zwave plus” as well. I don’t think this affects anything. Perhaps something to raise with the OpenZwave folks.

I have seen indications that Zwave Plus features can only be implemented if all your devices are Zwave Plus. That may account for the false notice.

Sure,

I was just wondering if I had been sold a doggy one from eBay or something, Z-Wave Plus is important to me though because of the range, but if you’re seeing it too I suspect it’s just a software thing in OpenZWave or HASS.

The only thing is that it detects my other Z-Wave Plus device fine, which had me wondering.

I only have one device set up right now and it is Z-Wave Plus, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

The speed reported by the Z-Stick is 40k and all of my other Plus devices show 40k as well so this is likely openzwave.

How do you check speed?

Same place you likely go zwave plus false

Oh sorry, I see what you mean, yeah mines showing as 40k too, awesome. Must be a bug in the software then, that’s fine to me, just wanted to know if I had been ripped off (got it very cheap at just £17, so I was suspicious).

Thanks for replying.

Most welcome.
