I haven’t really put much thought on this but decided to ask anyway. Is it normal for the Node id to just increment when you add and remove devices? Or can we somehow reuse the empty nodes in between?
I have 17 nodes but because I tried removing and re-adding them, my last node is now 30.
You don’t have any control of this at all. It’s done in the controller itself.
But my understanding is that once all of the nodes are incremented to the end the controller should rotate back around and start using the unused nodes for new devices.
