Z-Wave toggle vs rocker/Decora

I’m moving to a new house with toggle switches. My current home also has toggle switches, many of which I have swapped out with Z-Wave toggles. As I scour the internet to start planning my new home setup, there appear to be more Z-Wave offerings in the Decora style.
Should I make the switch to Decora?
The new home has more switches, so I’ll be buying more switches either way, but if I make the change, I’ll also be swapping out switches I decide not to make smart.
Please base your thoughts and opinions on Z-Wave offerings, market trends, or preferences with toggles vs. rocker style switches. I’m not going with wifi or Zigbee for the wall switches. I briefly considered Lutron but would rather not lock myself into a single vendor no matter how good they are.

At the end of the day it’s purely a styling option. They are identical electronically but at least in the US I only know limited vendors making toggle style.

As a side effect if you choose to go that route you limit selection including removing many of the current top options such as Zooz or Innovelli (if you can find them)

Toggles starting to be more limited is exactly the same sense I’m getting.

Honestly I haven’t seen toggles available in mass since pre pandemic and even then Jasco was the only OEM making them in any quantity (as GE Ultipro etc.). So if you go that route (for Northamerica switches) you’re basically getting a Jasco or… Nothing. :sunglasses:

Like I said. It’s a styling choice. But here’s my personal feelings on the matter…

Do you prefer blue or green LEDs

North America here, so I’m in the same boat. Thanks for the viewpoints!
