Hi,
My zigbee2mqtt (and all other) container restarts weekly for backups and updates. Whenever the container restarts, my lights go on and off.
I see during a restart, the device is unavailable in Home Assistant and shows for a couple of seconds as ‘turned off’. It’s set up as ‘toggle previous’, so when the lights were on before, it’ll even go back to ‘turned on’. This triggers the HA automation, and causes my lights to go off and on.
Is there a way to stop this behavior? Like, why does it show as ‘turned off’ when it goes unavailable?
