ZBT-2 frustrations forming a new network

I am new to home assistant and felt a good place to start was to incorporate the new ZBT-2 hub for Zigbee. I have tried multiple times to bring this in but get stuck on Forming a new ZigBee Network. I have left it for multiple hours with no luck. I have tried hard booting multiple times HA (using a pi 5), manually flashing firmware to ZBT-2, used a few different usb c cables (one it shipped with was bad). HA is running current firmware with no updates pending. Does anyone have any ideas I haven’t tried, or experiencing the same issues as me? Help!

Same here, zbt-2 Arrived today and I’ve been going crazy to set it up for two hours.
Did you find a solution?

Nothing yet. I have disconnected and removed all radio hubs. I have also restricted my 2.4 wifi to channel 1. I have also ordered and installed 10ft usb 2 cables. Still same result… I will update this thread I figure this out.

I would recommend writing up an issue on this here and see what they say. In my mind, there should be a timer associated with this process, and if it times out, present what caused it.

Same issue here.

It never moves past ‘Forming a new Zigbee network.’

I am using a different adapter, I have the sonoff one.

I’ve created an issue.

So after looking at the log I figured out it was an issue with usb connection. I switched to another port on my pi and success. Frustrating, although up and running now
