the newspaper Zeit has some daily energy statistics: Energiemonitor. I’m really interested in getting some of these values e.g. energy prices and energy production types in percentage but also gas prices into my home assistant for comparison to other values. Unfortunately the website seems to complex to scrape the mentioned values into home assistant. Has someone ever tried this with more success?
Most of the mentioned based on the Energy-Charts of Fraunhofer Institute which offers a json api. I also tried to read these values via rest adapter, but stumbled about the amount of values. Has someone already implemented some of this adapters?
Hi, no experience with this one but maybe (!) if you are more explicit to what you want, there could be help. It is too vague for those that do not use the data you aim for.
If you provide a direct link to the data/json and important (!) what you want to do with which data…that often helps
I got a new washing machine, which allows to remote start the mashine. If it would be possible to combine the amount of renewable energy produced in a certain time in Austria (or any other country) my washing mashine would become much more sustainable.
Energy-Charts are deliverying exactly this kind of data.
