I have 5 x ZM25EL new blind roller motors connected by a Zigbee Gateway hub and using Smartlife app. For some reason one of them is no longer working (it was until yesterday) and I cant work out how to get it working. It is paired and recognised and when I press up or down or open close on the app the blue light on the motor flashes but the motor does nothing. I tried as per the manual to reset it (5 presses of reset button) and I have tried deleting and re-installing - can anyone give me some tips?
If you have one of the remotes that sometimes comes with these, you could see if it responds to commands from that. If it does not, then it would indicate a problem with the motor, rather than with your Zigbee set up for example.
I had a WiFi version of these (earlier ZM25TQ model) exhibit similar symptoms. Because I have no capacity to open the thing up and see if it was something fixable, I simply ended up replacing it (with its Zigbee equivalent as it happens).
Using the remote it is the same. Weird thing though sometimes after switching it off it works (once only) for a short distance in one direction only.
I have the same issue now.
I have 4 blinds - ZM25EL - Only 1 has stopped working. Only about 1 month old.
First noticied it would not respond to ZHA requests. (It would still respond to the RF Remote).
I thought, just do the old ‘Turn off/Turn on’ thing for all IT equipement.
So turned off the blind from the little black slide switch on the motor end. Waited about 30 seconds then turned it back on.
Blue LED flashed a few times then went out.
Now remote doesnt work also.
Every time you use the remote, Blue LED flashes once, but blind does not work.
Were you able to work it out?
