I have 10 of these and for the most part they work great. But every now and then I get a crazy high wattage spikes that messed up both my energy reporting and my automations (ex identify if sump pump is running). The automations I could modify with a duration I guess though would like not to.
While I haven’t paid close attention to all 10 of them, I am sure I’ve seen it on different ones.
Anyone else experience this?

Unfortunately , no 
I remember the name and the problem (but not owning such hardware I can’t take control 
). A forum search will probably help you how to work around that issue 
I think that it is hardware fault.
I have 4 of these and only one of them has the high wattage spikes. I have switched them around on different appliances, but the fault follows one specific ZEN15.
Zooz support wasn’t any help and suggested that Home Assistant was likely the cause.
That said the spikes seem to occur less frequently than they used to
