today I successfully added the IKEA TRADFRI integration.
I noticed that it did not automatically detect the gateway host IP, at least the “Host” field was not pre-filled with a host name or IP. So I tried to find out if it is possible to do that.
I also noticed that there is a “zeroconf” integration
The
zeroconfintegration will scan the network for supported devices and services. Discovered integrations will show up in the discovered section on the integrations page in the configuration panel. It will also make Home Assistant discoverable for other services in the network. Zeroconf is also sometimes known as Bonjour, Rendezvous, and Avahi.
Does the zeroconf integration also provide data for other integrations? Or is it just an integration which shows/lists the entries which have been found by the scan?
