Hi all,
My brother bought a new wall switch from the robbshop and couldn’t get it to work in the philips hue app.
I sold him on home assistant (with the home assistant green). Since I wanted it to be an easy experience for him I tried ZHA instead of zigbee2mqtt. The device works great in zigbee2mqtt, not so much in ZHA.
So I created a blueprint for the ROB_200-025-0 8 button zigbee switch, the black edition.
it can be found here: ha/blueprint-device-ROB_200_025_0.yaml at a111ce705651b1f89192df42504f8472041bfaa0 · rolfvreijdenberger/ha · GitHub (want to do a HA import button, but I get error 422)
Works great, and is good looking with collapsible sections.
That said, I’m going to zigbee2mqtt for him, I was taken aback by the lack of device integrations.
There is another version from user BartE(no link - sorry -, I’m a new user so can only link 2 items) on which this is loosely based. but I was unable to get that working for all buttons, so I created another one.
This one is probably not suitable for the white version, which has another identifier.
For testing, this can easily be fixed by adjusting the yaml of the blueprint, and reloading the yaml files in HA.
