ZHA can't properly handle the Ikea Tradfri Motion sensor

Hi,
I am experimenting with ZHA and using the SMaBiT AV2010/10 USB dongle.
Connected a couple of Levance smart plugs, a couple of Ikea Tradfri bulbs, and Aqara double rocker switch and vibration sensor.
Everything works fine but I am having trouble with the Ikea Tradfri motion sensor. It is correctly discovered and paired, but after that nothing happens, no motion detected, no activity. After one day it goes offline and I have no other option than pairing it again.
Tested with Deconz+ConBee II (my default installation) works just fine.

Here the device info:

I can’t find any updated information on this topic; what can I do to debug and try to find the problem?
Thanks.

Same here, spent whole sunday figuring it out and failed :fearful:
Shall i throw it away and buy another sensor?

Yeah, I have the exact same problem but I am seeing guides with people that managed to get them working without issue so I’m kinda confused here. It kind of pairs but after ZHA interviews it never finishes configuring. Once you leave that screen though the device is added but it won’t change state or report any info like battery. I am using the cheap TI 2531(sonoff) Zigbee dongle btw. wondering if people have better luck with the more expensive conbee’s or something.

I’ve got a bunch of these working fine with a ConbeeII, but I’m running them through deconz. If you get a Conbee you can run two zither networks (one on deconz and one on ZHA) if some devices don’t work on one or the other.

If you use the cc2531, be sure to be on the latest firmware, older firmware has problems with them.
