ZHA compability?

Hi! I found a zigbee dimmer with two channels but I can’t find if it’s working with ZHA. It’s a HZC Dual Dimmer what has article nr D086-ZG. Does anyone know if it’s working with ZHA?

Did you ever get this to work? Did you change to another dimmer?

Most devices with standard Zigbee functions work out-of-the-box, read these two ZHA docs sections:

https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha#knowing-which-devices-are-supported

and

I know it should be like that. I did find a thread talking about this dimmer not working in zigbee 2 mqtt and started to suspect there was something off with it. That’s why I am curious.

Zigbee2MQTT does not work the same as ZHA. Devices in Zigbee2MQTT always require a zigbee-herdman converter while in ZHA they only need a ZHA device handler (a.k.a. quirk) if it has custom clusters and attributes or non-standard features/functions. Anyway, just buy the device and join/pair it to ZHA, and then submit a device support request if it does not show all expected entities.
