ZHA could not open port on the HA Blue with the ZZH stick

The other day my HA instance started complaining that it was unable to open the port for my ZZH stick in order to get ZHA working.

I’m running Home Assistant on the Blue and have been for months now without incident. I’ve tried to go back to my last known working backup but that hasn’t helped.

Subsequently I realised that none of the USB port were active

This is my full setup:

For anyone who encounters this problem.

I had to reset the blue with a monitor and keyboard plugged in.

Once it had booted up I was able to login (using root with no password) and viola!
