ZHA: IKEA Symfonisk Gen 2 Cannot See Events

Hi Guys

i have searched for quite some time and tried a few of the suggestions but not found a fix

I have ZHA running with a Sonoff USB Zigbee dongle
I have managed to get a few IKEA devices in successfully
incliding a Strybar remote and Tretakt smart plug - they both work ok for now

i am able to get ZHA to adopt the Symfonisk remote but i cannot see any ZHA_Events…

It it showing this firmwares version

I did something with Quirks but not sure what exactly - its noted here:

I can see that others successfully integrated it with the same firmware so assume im doing something wrong

i tried adding the device and pressing buttons at the same time to “keep it alive” as well as removing the battery once it went green as some posts suggested but that hasnt helped…

any advice would be appreciated

I remember it took a little while before it started working for me.
But that was perhaps a minute or so.

My second remote had two buttons that didn’t work, re-paired it and it worked.
Perhaps you need to re-pair it?

So… i managed to get it to work, i did the pairing process exacrtly as i had done every other time, except for doing it while next to the Tretakt smart plug instead of next to the coordinator… i saw that someone had mentioned it (doing it next to bulbs) → this seems to have worked for me…
