ZHA installation crashing HA

Hi all,

I recently bought a Conbee 2, now i’ve been trying for the past few hour to add it in my HA. However, every time i add the integration it just locks up.
After a reboot it still runs fine, but the integration wasn’t added.

  • Core: 2025.2.5
  • Supervisor: 2025.02.4
  • Operating System: 14.2

It runs on virtualbox (Version 7.0.18 r162988).

Its installed on a windows 11 (Pro) intel Nuc-like machine:

I’ve already tried updating the firmware of the Conbee2, also with more and less memory and CPU cores.
Can’t find anything in Log-files…
I’ve tried adding the integration trough the “add integration” button, but that runs a ground after clicking continue after selecting the serial port.

I’ve found some topics mentioning they couldn’t find the stick, but here it is finding the stick it just crashes when trying to add it…
Anyone any idea what i can try?

How do you have USB setup through Virtual box? For example, did you setup device filters? Have you ever had USB supported devices in HA? Someone recently posted a VB guide for passing USB devices to a VB Host, I would look into that.
