ZHA Network Devices Offline

I recently doubled the amount of devices on my zigbee network, from 20 to about 40. Everything was working fine, until I got an error from HA telling me that the current channel for ZHA didn’t match the channel from the most recent backup. I noticed a portion of my devices were offline, so I chose to restore the channel to the previous one and restarted ZHA.

After that the devices came back online for a brief while, however not long after most of the devices went offline and I can’t figure out how to get them reconnected. I can’t recall what channel ZHA said that it had moved to previously, and I tried changing the channel to every channel available, but only about 7 devices of the 40 remained connected while I switched between channels to try and find the orphaned devices. None of the offline devices reconnected while shuffling between channels.

I don’t know much about ZHA. How would I go about troubleshooting this

Unplugging and replugging the USB stick didn’t help, neither did rebooting the VM

My understanding is that most (but not all) devices will automatically find the new channel, but it may take hours for them, particularly if they are far away from the host. So I would suggest you leave it on one channel over night and then see which devices don’t re-pair. For those you will probably have to re-pair them manually.
