It has more than 2 years I’ve set up the XBee USB device with tty0tty (tnt) in ubuntu with HA working with Xiaomi Zigbee devices.
zigbee2mqtt does not support XBee device normally, from my understanding it needs to set the KY and lot of things makes the XBee device working.
Currently, the HA supervisor told that ubuntu system is not supported normally, which the Debian image of HA has no apt command, it is a bit confusing that no 3rd part software can be easily installed into the Debian.
Hyper-V has no USB or serial device mapping functions, if the ZHA can support the raw TCP/socket which sending and receiving command it would be super advanced which serial can be easily mapping.
oh, I found the ZHA supports sockets which link the dest device address as socket://xxxxxx:xx
