Using a Conbee 1 Zigbee stick.
Is it possible to migrate a ZHA Zigbee network to Z2M? I appear to be unable to add my existing Hue bulbs to ZHA, as ZHA does not support Touchlink. I do not have a dimmer or remote, which a lot of people seem to recommend using. I understand I may need to rename every affected entity.
Background:
Originally using deConz, I shut it down and fired up Z2M as apparently it had an ‘import network’ option. Even though I selected the ‘import network’ option, it somehow wiped the details from the Conbee co-ordinator, and I was left with a fresh network.
Might as well use the integrated ZHA then, since I’d be starting from scratch.
Re-paired and renamed about 50+ devices, and was left with some Hue bulbs that seemingly couldn’t pair. No matter how many times I tried power cycling (I now have some HA scripts for my lightswitch relays) I couldn’t get them to factory reset. Aqara, Silvercrest, and Ikea gear is all working fine.
I’ve dug out my ancient and unsupported v1 Hue Hub, and an ancient copy of Hue Essentials app to work with it, and it can find and pair with the bulbs when they are in close proximity. I believe this is ‘Touchlink’ or similar. I’ve tried to ‘delete’ the bulb from the Hue Hub, which apparently resets it, and then cold boot it within inches of the Conbee whilst ZHA is in search mode, but to no avail. ZHA emits a bunch of log entries about ZHA frames every time the bulb is turned on, but doesn’t seem to do anything with them. As far as my experience goes, ZHA cannot import non-factory-fresh Hue bulbs.
