Hi All,
I have ZHA component with ConBee II running on Supervised setup. Connected to this setup is an IKEA tradfri ZigBee repeater.
I try to connect a PHILIPS Hue White Amb. Fair to this environment, but the device is not found when I select “+ ADD DEVICE” on the ZHA integration page, neither if I select “ADD DEVICES VIA THIS DEVICE” on the ZHA device page of the IKEA tradfri.
Physically my ConBee II is in the ground floor, the PHILIPS Hue White Amb. & IKEA tradfri are in the same room on the first floor. The RSSI of the connected IKEA tradfri is -79.
Ways I have done already trying to connect the phillips hue:
- disconnected the philipps hue from power, then start the device adding (once on both - IKEA & ZHA - in different tries ), then connect the phillips hue again to power
- reset the phillips hue via the phillips hue dimmer switch (by pressing I + O multiple seconds at the same time while very near to the connection module until the light shortly gets highes level light and then turns off). Start the device adding (once on both - IKEA & ZHA - in different tries ) and turn on the phillips HUE again.
- same as 2 but then disconnect the hue from power and reconnect it again
I do not have the phillips hue connected to any app / alexa or anything else.
Never the less it seems (even after the reset), the phillips hue does not loose its “connection” to the hue dimmer switch…so it looks like they are paired all the time…
Am I doing something wrong during the reset?
Is there anything I could do differently during the ZigBee pairing?
Thanks for any hint…
