ZHA with ConBee II won't add Hue lamps further away

Good morning (o;

Trying to get rid of my hue gateway and started to integrate sensors and lamps into ZHA with the ConBee II stick on RPi4…

The first 2 lamps I could easily integrate after just deleting them from the Hue app…
but now when I want to add lamps on a floor below ZHA doesn’t find those…

In the network diagram I see that those 2 lamps which are working show as routers…but don’t show a connection to the ConBee II stick…so I assume that’s the reason those lamps won’t forward traffic coming from the lamps a floor below…

Is there any way to force those lamps that they route and forward traffic?

thanks in advance
richard

It may seem silly, but try waiting a day or so. Sometimes Zigbee networks take some time to ‘settle in’, apparently. I had a Zigbee device that I paired and it also didn’t show a connection to the network for a day or two.

Also, I’m assuming you’ve followed instructions for un-pairing and re-pairing Hue devices? (I don’t have any, just have read about it).

Well some hue bulbs suddenly turned up and could be paired…two hues I had to remove and install nearby the ConBee stick to pair them…and after ZHA reload they were controllable as well…

Only the Ikea Floalt panel was available after deinstalling, pairing and a HA core restart…so all fine now after dozens running down and up two staircases :wink:

Not sure if pairing devices can’t be done over a Zigbee router…at least all Ikea and Hue remotes I needed to pair close to the ConBee…

Now the big task to do the automations for all the motion sensors…not always working correctly as lamps sometimes stay on after the set 5min delay to turn off…

But great to be able to remove the Hue bridge…so much faster directly…and I still get illuminance and temperature values out of Hue motion sensors…but apparently no way to set the motion sensitivity…

Now ordering some more Aqara rocker switches and Lidl window contacts :wink:
