I have a mix of Innr (RS125) and Philips Hue GU10s with my Hue bridges for over a year and they are all working relatively well. I recently bought 8 new Innr GU10s (RS225) and they are really unpleasant to use with HA.
Using them via the Hue App on my phone directly is just fine but any calls from HA to turn on/off or dim up.down the bulbs results in a flash to dim/full/dim or vice versa. Sometimes the bulbs just seem to stutter and stop responding for a bit.
I discovered that the previous bulbs were all ZLL but the new ones are Zigbee 3.0.
So my question is, what in the HA code is causing these bulbs to flicker during a state change?
I thought HA just sends a RESTful API call to the Hue bridge to trigger the bulbs on/off or dim/bright? If this was the case surely the bulbs would just behave the same as when triggered directly from the Hue App? But they don’t.
Any help appreciated as I will have to return these bulbs and try source the older variants online if I can’t resolve this.
Thanks
