Zigbee connectivity issues

Hi All,

I’m having Zigbee connectivity issues using a sonoff USB controller.

Some items just drop off sporadically, there seems to be no rhyme or reason.

How do I go about diagnosing this?

I’ve looked at the topology, can this be remapped? It’s strange as I thought Zigbee devices were repeaters so having a device close to the ones that are dropping off wouldn’t happen.

Any help appreciated.

Most mains Zigbee devices are routers (not all), battery powered devices are not.

You can’t control the topology of a Zigbee network - connections change depending on environmental factors like interference from other devices. The key thing is to make sure there are lots of possible routes for messages to take. Connectivity issues usually come down in the end to not enough routers (not just the distance between them).
