I installed zigbee mqtt V. 1.35.3-1, and paired all decives with no problem, started to update the firmwares of my plugs Moes Model [ZK-EU] and at the beggining everything was fine, updated around 20 plugs, I restarted HA to update the plug where was plugged in the Raspi, and started the problems, every time i want to update start the update and 3 seconds appear the message “adapter disconnected, stopping” and the addon restarts.
Now also happens when I try to add a device, start interview and the adapter disconnect, while i dont do this 2 things, everything works normal.
I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8 Gb ram.
2 Sonoff dongle E last version 7.10.3 one with usb extention.
I changed plugs, i changed dongles, and no difference, tried downgrading the MQTT and no change, downgraded HA no changes, also tried deleting everything and redoing everything again, (to discard if were the plugsd) and now cant pair all the devices that i updated with no problem.
i had to transfer everything to ZHA to, and making tests with MQTT with a few devices that MQTT let me pair.
I´m starting an OTA update which works for a certain time until “Adapter disconnected. Stopping” appears and the progress bar only shows N/A.
Even as I´m writing this, I decided to switch off the 2.4GHz WIFI to test whether it could be because WIFI and Zigbee overlap.
As soon as I switched off the 2.4GHz band, the update runs for 20 minutes without an adapter disconnect.
Since my Zigbee network works on channel 11 by default and I would have to re-pair all devices to change the channel, I decided to set the WiFi channel to channel 7.
So far it seems like this has fixed the problem for me.
Edit: Because of the same thought I tested spamming the Philipps HUE Lights which in my chase also using Zigbee standart on channel 11. So while I was spamming the lights I did get an expectet “Adapter disconnect”.
Yes i Changed many times the band of both, zigbee and Wifi, Also one sonoff dongle which i updated and a skyconnect dongle, having the same result in MQTT.
I have a unify Dream Router, and still have the problem, but only with updates, the rest is very stable the connection, just that i cant keep trying with Zigbee bands as i have more than 70 devices and re-pair everything when looks that “is stable” is not practical. my solution for now was buy the propietary Hub, update the devices (because for example the plugs were unstable and switching off randomly) and after update, repair with MQTT or ZHA.
And for now ZHA doesnt have support for MOES or Aqara devices, to update directly from the system.
