Zigbee device automatically controlling another device immediately after adding?

I’ve just added a LEDvance branded Osram Lightify Smart+ Indoor Switch Mini to Home Assistant.

Immediately after adding (no automations set up) it’s started controlling one of my bulbs and I’ve no idea why? Up will turn the bulb on, down off and (based on the logs) it looks like the middle is attempting to set a hue

If I look at the log it gives me:

OSRAM Lightify Switch Mini Remote Button Short Press - Button 3 event was fired
17:17:56 - Now
OSRAM Lightify Switch Mini Move To Color Temp event was fired with parameters: {'color_temp_mireds': 370, 'transition_time': 10, 'options_mask': None, 'options_override': None}

As I say, I have no automations set up for this device so not sure where it’s pulling these from, and even then, how it’s controlling the bulb (which is unrelated, different brand)

Anyone offer any insight?

I have the same issue. Can someone suggest some advice?

i also imported blueprints for this device, but it changed nothing.

ALso deleting, reset and new bind does not change the behaviour of the switch

Same! Actually it happened the other way around: I already had the osram remote and added some new smart plugs and now the remote is also switching on/off all my new plugs. I’m using ZHA, what about you? I’ve been thinking of trying Z2mqtt to see if it changes anything

For now I gave up :joy:
Mostly because I’m on holiday but also it’s a low priority device for me.
However, that was my next plan - try Zigbee2mqtt… It’s listed as a supported device on their site so be interesting to see how it works

If you get chance to try before I do (as I’m away!) please report back!!

So, breaking news…
It doesn’t seem to do it with Zigbee2mqtt

Decided to have a go at this and a couple of other devices I was having issues with by completely restarting my setup and using Zigbee2mqtt instead of ZHA - while I’m still having some issues with those other devices (in fact they seem to work less in Z2M), this Osram switch seems to work without triggering the bulb it was previously triggering

The device is added a bit strangely in Z2M but does seem to be functional
I don’t seem to be able to trigger a successful check for ota firmware tho

Frustrating that my mix of devices seems to work better in one or the other!

For me it worked by removing and repairing the remote (multiple times). No idea why though

I had the same problem using “Osram Lightify Smart+ Indoor Switch Mini” in combination with ZHA. Removing and repairing didn´t help. I had to reset the switch and when I paired the switch I had to be as close as possible to the Home Assistant zigbee stick (in my case conbee II). Then I could use the Switch Mini in automations as I like and there was no “automatic controlling”.

But the same problem as with the Switch Mini from Osram I now have, using the Q Remote from Neuhaus. There I can change color and brightness of light. Just now it controls the light in the hole flat. And I can´t influence it. If it would only control the light living room it would be great. How to influence this “automatic controlling”??

Details of remote: “manufacturer”: “Neuhaus Lighting Group”, “model”: “NLG-remote”
