Don’t work properly. Physical button work fine. But zigbee on doesn’t work. Aqara motion sensor will see me and will turn light on. I can hear like e27 make sound on, but fun in that E27 doesn’t start turning. When try physical button on, fan start turning.
What fan? That product is intended to switch on/off a light bulb which is screwed into it directly. There’s no way it can control your fan because I’ve never seen a fan which uses an E27 fitting to control the motor.
Can you post a picture of how you have it connected?
The ZigBee socket you bought has a 2A relay and isn’t designed for an inductive load like a fan, let alone one which comes a light and screws in via E27.
I cannot provide any further advice other than to stop doing what you’re doing and to remove the socket before something burns.
Edit: just realised you’re not the OP. Will leave my post up just in case
OP?
if it is not for fan, why physical button work fine?
The forces on that screw socket during fan acceleration and deceleration would possibly be a major SAFETY issue.
-
When it works its way loose enough to spark the contacts, creating a small spark, fanned with lots of oxygen flow from the rotating fan to make it become a fire.
-
When it unscrews enough to obey gravity and whack you on the head!
I would STRONGLY recommend not doing this.
Chewing gum or superglue in both the male and female sockets will probably just delay the inevitable.
You need to forget using the screw mounting for a rotating device. JUST DON’T DO IT.
Software will not fix a physical safety issue.
You’re replying to the wrong person, but I agree. Googled these fans and they rotate in the same direction that the socket unscrews.
No wonder they’re cheap.
Wonder what the yaml code is for tightening it up every now and again?
now I don’t address whether the fan is suitable for E27 or not. I’m addressing why the physical button on the zigbee E27 works but the software does not, despite the fact that I hear a click
