Zigbee group issue after migrating to ZBT-2 (ZHA)

I just migrated my Aeotec Zigbee stick to a new ZBT-2. Must say that the migration went flawless (kudos HA) but I now have the following issue.

To avoid popcorn effect I want to create zigbee groups for lights that are grouped together. I can create a zigbee group in the ZHA config screen but the groups don’t show up as entities I can add to the dashboard. What is weird is that a group I created on my old stick and consequently deleted does show up as an entity, but does not show in the zigbee group list (the old group can also not be removed )

OK update and it looks like I solved my own problem, perhaps useful if anyone else runs into this.

It seems some of the old zigbee group-id’s linger somewhere. When I created the new group it defaulted to ID 2 and apparently the old group had the same ID hidden somewhere. When I created a group with another ID (5 in this case) everything automagically worked.
