Zigbee Moes Smart Switches

Hello,

I do apologize if this might have been asked. I have been trying to find answers for quite some time and did not find anything specific to my issue. I am fairly new to HA and have been enjoying using it. I have around 21 Moes Zigbee Smart Switches around my home, gang number differs from 1 gang to 3 gang. I have been using it with a Tuya gateway which works fine but I am trying to move them over to either ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. I can discover them fine within both ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT and they are detected as light, I did override the device type in configuration.yaml and it shows now as a switch. Here’s my problem, if I have a 2gang switch, toggling one through ZHA toggles all the other switches. If I toggle on a switch, all the other lights turn on within that switch, same as turning it off. I am not sure if there is a configuration I need to change. Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone.

For ZHA I think that these sections on the ZHA documentation could be relative:

https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha#modifying-the-device-type

https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha#zha-exception-and-deviation-handling

https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha#reporting-issues

Consider reported as a new “Device support request” to ZHA Device Handlers (a.k.a. zha-quirks) repo:

https://github.com/zigpy/zha-device-handlers/issues

Be sure to search there for using the Zigbee device signature to see if there are any existing requests.

I have exactly the same problem, did you find any solution?

Again, report issue as a new “Device support request” to ZHA Device Handers (a.k.a. zha-quirks) repo:

https://github.com/zigpy/zha-device-handlers/issues

And again, search there for using the Zigbee device signature to see if there are any existing requests.

I recommend using Zigbee2MQTT for these Moes switches instead of ZHA.

Any reason for specifically recommending Zigbee2MQTT?

In any case, ecabalquinto, sha, did you find any solution?

Precisely the same issue for me too - Did u have any luck with this? I have searched around quite a lot now and for some just trying it a few times worked fine while for others Zigbee2MQTT played well. However, I am still just stuck!

A bit late with a reply but I had the exact same issue, but resolved it tonight.

When initially detected by ZHA it sets both switches up called light, if you go into the light switch device and rename the two switches to have different names, you can use those to control them independently.
