Zigbee not working anymore after HA OS update to 14.0

Hi there, I completely lost my connection to all my zigbee devices today after updating to OS 14.0. I run ZHA with the Skyconnect connected via USB to HA Yellow. I currenlty had to unplug my complete HA server because the lights where reacting very strange. I lost control for some hour, some light I couldnt turn off, some where flickering, some where on and couldnt be turned off anymore. I have lot’s of built in ZIgbee dimmers (Slimme Hue compatible Inbouw dimmer Kopen ? | We ❤️ Smart! | ROBBshop). Now the dimmers seemt to be steady and I can use the again manually.

Anyone seen this behaviour? I will first try te roll back to an earlier OS version tomorrow, can I use " ha os update --version 13.2" for this?

The error I saw under my devices with the Zigbee was something like:
“failed setup will retry errno 2 no such file or directory: 'dev/serial/by-id…”

Tomorrow I will plug in HA again and wil read out the errors. I dont want to wake up my family now by flickering lights so that has to wait.

Thanks

Hi,

It seems that the device id of your sonoff has changed. You can check what it was for ZHA in the integration settings (ZHA → Configure) and what it is now in System > Hardware > All Hardware > ttyXXX)

Thanks, I couldn’t readout the ID in the integration settings so couldnt compare. I did however rollback the OS to 13.2 and now they work again, very strange. But instread of showing the light dim as percentage all my lights now show a value from 1 to 254 … very strange

After a reboot the light values now again show up as a percentage. So now all works fine, but I cannot update my OS to 14.0…anyone encountered the same issues and was able to get it workiing again under 14.0?

Hi Marc, in the meantime Core has been updated/patched to 2024.12.1 but I don’t see anything directly related to ZHA.
