Hi. I had in my home a ZBBridge and some Temperature sensors connected to the bridge. The bridge is connected to HA with ZHA. It worked nice with some of the sensors, but some are out of range. I just purchased some ZB Mini relays with AC input(so it should act as routers too). The problem is, that I plugged in the routers, I paired one to the bridge successfully, and tried to pair another one more far from the bridge(with should not reach the bridge directly), and couldn’t find the device. I tried to add a router between the Bridge and a Sensor, and the same, the sensor isn’t found. So why isn’t my ZB Mini extending the network? Thanks for help!
Is the sensor in the supported devices?
You can check this here Database of Zigbee devices compatible with ZHA, Tasmota, Zigbee2MQTT, deCONZ, ZiGate and ioBroker
Yes, it is, also it works when in the range of the Bridge, so…
Do I need to connect manually e.g a sensor to a router in the Network Settings in ZHA, or something? Because even if I paired it from the Router device, it is still connected to the bridge in the Network visualisation.
EDIT: Everytime I connect something to the network, it connects to the bridge. Even if I add it from the the router device page.(Tried with adding a router to an already connected router)
Devices I use: ZBBridge Silicon Labs EZSP
SNZB-02 Temp sensor
SBMINI Sonoff Mini Relay
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did you ever manage to resolve this? Having the exact same problem.
Better to start your own thread regarding this. Make sure you include specifics such as which zigbee integration you’re using, coordinator & device models, as well as a proper description of the issue (even if it’s the same as the OP above)
