Zigbee Sensor via Echo show up in Home assistant?

Hey Guys

Tried looking this up but couldn’t find any threads with this specific question. Essentially I have some zigbee sensors connected to my echo with the build in hub. I do not have any zigbee hub besides the one built in with my echo.

Is there a way to expose the devices to home assistant? I have the alexa integration but that seems to only include media players and lights with nothing for motion sensors.

I can create routines in Alexa, but I find the automation in Home Assistant to work better and want to use those instead of possible. As such, I’m hoping to be able to access the devices on home assistant.

Thank you for your input and time in advance.

Hey, did you manage to get it to work? I’m on the market for some motion sensors but my only ZigBee hub is the one in my echo 4th gen. I do have a Bluetooth sengled light bulb connected to that echo and it shows on home assistant.

Nope, I don;t think its possible. You’d need to buy a zigbee adapter and set that up with home assistant. I bought one but never ended up getting around to it
