Zigbee Shade stops responding

I am on 2025.10.1 Core running ZHA. I have one Shade that is giving me issues staying connected. Randomly, the shade will stop responding to commands. I get “Failed to send request: <Status.MAC_NO_ACK: 233>”. But I can still use the RF remote and it will show the progress of it being opened when I use the RF to open it in the device Config. I figured out that if I disable the cover entity and then re-enable it, it will respond again for a brief time. I’m not sure if it is something with this shade or my ZHA config, but I have 5 other Zigbee shades from the same manufacturer that are working fine. LQI is 69, and it is actually connected directly to my Coordinator, which is a Sonoff Zigbee 3 USB dongle. The entity Device Info is TS0301 by _TZE200_jhhskent. I’m sure the manufacturer is going to say I need to use their Zigbee hub, but Zigbee is Zigbee. It should work no matter what hub I use, right?

the last part is kinda tricky, since _tze200_jhhrskent is a tuya designation. Tuya is definitely not following full zigbee standards, so scrap that idea
RF remote is probably close by and can communicate without your usb dongle . So it seems a range issue to me, the 69 lqi is also indication of that.and can only be improved by having a mains powered repeater.

Should I install a Zigbee smart outlet or a dedicated zigbee signal booster close by? I tried connecting it to an existing Zigbee smart outlet that I have but it would never connect to it. I go into Zigbee, select the Smart Outlet and then select “Add devices via this device”. I’m wondering if I should just buy the hub they sell and see if it makes a difference. Hopefully I can integrate it into Home Assistant.

Another thought is if it is Tuya, you think I can add it in the Tuya integration?

This issue is most likely due to a low quality zigbee mesh. Add more routers.

I will try that. Can never have enough Zigbee Smart Outlets. lol
