Hello!
I have 14 devices in my house that work on the Zigbee protocol. More than half of the devices work with a signal level in the red zone. When checking the network status in the application, it shows that the signal level is 99%, the network is in good condition. The working channel is 26. Please explain why most devices show the signal level in the red zone?
How to get signal level in green zone?
Thanks.
Hi Igor, best you can do already is to read this (if you haven’t yet): Zigbee network optimization: a how-to guide for avoiding radio frequency interference + adding Zigbee Router devices (repeaters/extenders) to get a stable Zigbee network mesh with best possible range and coverage by fully utilizing Zigbee mesh networking
This is an extensive guide from @Hedda, one of our long time members.
Since you are not giving any details about your setup, my best guess would be to add more routers.
Thank you. The information was useful. I realized my mistakes. I moved the coordinator to the second floor of the house and temporarily placed it as follows:
The situation improved. I configured each device separately. The signal levels became in the green zone. But there are a couple of questions:
How to correctly place the coordinator and USB repeater, what are their directional diagrams?
Is there a zigbee-scanner program that displays a network picture in real time?
The repeater is now in this position:
