I have a short question, but I can’t find the answer because generally the topic deviates from the original question (i.e., no answer to the original question).
My setup: Raspberry PI4, Slaesh’s cc2652rb Zigbee USB stick, lastest release of Home Assistant.
I am looking for a smoke detector that meets the following requirements:
Smoke detection (naturally)
Reporting: battery almost empty status
Reporting: battery percentage status
Reporting: link quality status
The ability to turn it on / off via Home Assistant
Not too expensive (<40 Euro per piece)
Compatible with my setup
Does anybody has a recommendation for me?
Thank you very much!
There are not a ton of zigbee smoke detectors, and fewer that expose the option to silence the alarm. There is one that, at least with zigbee2mqtt, shows it exposes a “silence” option programmatically
