Zigbee TRV

Hi,
did anyone try these with some usb or conbee zigbee hub?

https://italian.alibaba.com/product-detail/china-supplier-zigbee-programmable-trv-for-radiator-thermostatic-radiator-controller-wifi-radiator-controller-60780482405.html?spm=a2700.8699010.normalList.16.5a7d75f6Sgt8pL

I have many zigbee devices and no z-wave, I wouldn’t like to be forced to add a z-wave hub just for few TRVs that I want to install.

Any other suggestion?

Thanks,
gaggio

This question is better suited for deconz GitHub

I’d also like to know as they look good, but not sure the 500 piece min order will be enough for the number of radiators in my house :no_mouth:

Have you found anything about it?

Went on with the Eurotronic Spirit Zigbee. It’s been working good, and batteries went from 100% to 60% during last winter. Let’s see if they will survive the next.

Cool, thanks! But quite expensive, no? 50 euro per TRV… I need to buy 11, so … :disappointed_relieved: :disappointed_relieved:

Yeah, I didn’t have to buy so many… Now I see this is supported by zigbee2mqtt: https://uk.banggood.com/Moeshouse-Tuya-ZigBee3_0-Smart-Radiator-Actuator-Programmable-Thermostatic-Radiator-Valve-Temperature-Controller-Voice-Control-via-Alexa-p-1741050.html?rmmds=buy&ID=6294912&cur_warehouse=CN

I might add a couple of these to my setup

Do you have some data about the battery life of the product ? Since the time of your post, enough time passed such that your experience with the battery life of this product could be invaluable for all users.

I can confirm batteries last 2 winters, but I have to say my use case is pretty special. They are in an open space which is most often heated by a fireplace. So these TRVs are connected, report temperature all the time, their setpoint is changed twice a day, but most of the times this does not result in any motor movement. The valve actually opens probably once or twice a week on average.

Hope this helps
