Zigbee ZHA wont discover Gledopto Zigbee LED controller

I am using The Nortek HUSBZB-1 on a raspberry pi 4 64-bit with ssd and Home Assistant OS 5.12
I’ve tried many times to pair the LED controller using the Zigbee integration, but it won’t discover it. As far as I can tell, the LED controller is in pairing mode. The Zigbee controller portion of the HUSBZB-1 is recognized by the integration.

I’ve searched and searched, but can’t seem to find a solution. Please help.

Just in case anybody stumbles over it.

If I remember, one needs to connect and disconnect the Gledopto driver 4 times to go into pairing mode. Then I had no problems to get it connected with ZigBed2MQTT.

A BIG WARNING THOUGH: The Gledopto (I have the CW/WW one) announces itself as router, but doesn’t do the routing. Whenever a ZigBee end device connects to it, it looses connection. Also I only delivers one LQI value when loading a network map in Z2M.

This together with the incompatibility with ControllerX (I wanted to use an Ikea Treadfri switch to controll it) will end it’s time in my home automation soon.
