Zigbee2mqtt along with conbee2

I want to connect Philips hue light which does not have the hue bridge to my home assistant. I have conbee 2 with zha. I checked and the only integration possibility is via hue bridge. But with zigbee2mqtt it is possible.

  1. Can I use both Zha and zigbee2mqtt in parallel with conbee 2 adapter. some devices added via zha and some via zigbee2mqtt ?

  2. How can I use hue remote to control the light when it is linked to HS

No. You can only use one or the other as a coordinator.

You would need to also pair the remote to your Zigbee coordinator and then write automations or scripts to control the light.

Thanks, so both zigbee2mqtt and zha cannont use the conbee2 at a same time. But in that case I can use like the following ?

1st usb - conbee2 - ZHA
2nd usb - CC2531 - zigbee2mqtt

Yes, but not a CC2531

That’s the oldest of the old, the slowest of the slow. Buy something based on a CC2652 chip instead.

To add to what @Tinkerer said, make sure that if you do that, you get as much separation between the two coordinators as possible and also make sure that you have them on separate channels with as much width as possible while not interfering with your WiFi channels.

Yea thanks, I currently using intel nuc. Then i will connect extend usb cable to maintain some distance with conbee 2
