Zigbee2MQTT and Aqura Motion sensor: Blue-flash when motion detected won't turn off

I’ve included my first Aqura motion sensor using Zigbee2MQTT to replace an old broken Hue Motion sensor. But at the moment I cannot get the (quite annoying) blue light to stop flashing when it detects motion. According to Zigbee2MQTT I need to press the pair button before trying to change the setting. However if I do this it drops out Zigbee2MQTT and when paired again it’s still flashing blue. In the setup it even shows it as false, but it continues to do it. And Zigbee2MQTT keeps setting error messages it cannot communicate with it. It does detect occupancy correct.

What am I missing? (Before I go insane, this is to detect occupancy in my home office and I constantly see it flashing blue in the corner of my eye  )

This seems to be a case of ‘be patient’, the problem seems to have fixed itself simply by waiting.

I had the same question so thought I’d post a reply here for anyone else in the same boat. I think the blue flashes happen for the first 5 mins after joining a network. Thereafter they only occur if you’ve set the LED trigger indicator
